The Governors of Zinder and Maradi in Niger republic stood alongside Governor Ganduje to receive President Buhari in Kano. Here are reactions from Nigerians on Twitter;
The imported crowd from Niger Republic didn’t work The hired crowd from neighbouring states didn’t work The hired crowd within the state didn’t work The civil servants that were mobilized to welcome Buhari didn’t work Buhari got disgraced in Kano today
@inecnigeria, News outfits reported that some Niger Republic government officials participated in APC’s presidential rally today in Kano. The reports were supported by pictures of the foreign officials. Is this permissible in our electoral laws and our 1999 constitution?
Buhari & Ganduje invited govt officials of Niger Republic for their Kano rally. Is that not a violation of our electoral laws? Isnt that a case of collusion with foreigners to subvert the electoral decision of Nigerians? This is hyper nasty & scandalous to be real
Tuesday, January 29, 2019: FG cautions representatives of foreign governments from interfering in Nigeria’s internal affairs. Thursday, January 31, 2019: Governors from Niger Republic join partisan political campaign in Nigeria.
TWO Niger Republic Governors attended. Seems, APC needed borrowed crowd from those two regions in Niger Republic in order to fill up Sani Abacha stadium, Kano. So, it’s now OK to have foreign Govts interfere with Nigeria’s political process? Great!
If the APC has the Niger Republic Governors openly and brazenly campaigning for the re-election of Buhari, then there is absolutely no reason why Nigerians cannot have the US, EU, and the UK on our side calling for free and fair elections.
