About the affiliate
Novo Nordisk Middle Africa was formed in early 2012. Novo Nordisk has an established presence with human insulin in Africa and our focus today is to sustain the growth of the market, ensure access to better quality modern insulin within the markets and support the communities living with diabetes. The affiliate covers 49 countries with offices in Lagos and Nairobi. Nigeria and French West Africa are a part of the Middle Africa affiliate.
P&O Partner Nigeria & French West Africa
The P&O Partner serves as the HR Business Partner to the business heads of Nigeria and French West Africa regions. He/She Serves as a human resources expert and resource towards line of business and managers for all departments, guides others in solutions and procedures of human resources function, develops plans and delivers results in fast-changing businesses and environments, identifies applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to problems, leads special assigned projects in the affiliate, ensures coordination and integration with other functions in pursuit of business success, works with guidance from first line manager in more complex situations, decisions are guided by first line manager.
You hold a relevant University Degree in a relevant area, possibly People & Organization related /Human Resources, organizational psychology, sociology or other. Masters/MBA and professional membership of CIPM, CIPD, SHRM is a plus.
You have 4 – 6 years of relevant experience in P&O/HR in generalist and specialist roles, preferably gained in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Industry. International experience with a multinational company is also preferred. You are fluent in English, Intermediate French (Speaking and Writing will be an added advantage), Broad or deep functional/technical expertise Relevant IT skills, specifically SAP HR. You are problem-solving, result-oriented, and multi-tasking, who can work under pressure. You are flexible to work with different origins and cultures in difficult and changing environments.
